French journalists publish a charter on how to improve the reporting on the climate crisis

In the first half of 2022, we at Samsa.fr worked with a group of about twenty journalists in order to draft a « Upgrading journalistic practices to tackle the ecological emergency ». In our role as trainers of journalists, we feel there is a pressing need to accelerate changes in newsrooms to better address climate issues. For journalists, it is crucial to know and understand the causes and consequences, to be able to assess orders of magnitude, to be aware of eco-anxiety, and to find ways to effectively reach their audiences. These are the types of training courses we offer in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
